Everton FC (Premier League) posted a turnover of £181m (€209.8m as on 30/06/2022) for the financial year 2022 (01/07/2021 to 30/06/2022), down slightly (-6.27%) from its record revenue in 2021 (£193.1m/€225.05m as on 30/06/2021), announced the Merseyside club on 31/03/2023.

Although this is the first post-pandemic financial year, the impact of Covid-19 remained "significant, with the pandemic contributing to combined crystallised losses of more than £90m (€104.3m), with significant substantial uncrystallised losses also incurred," said the club. Everton's net loss however, fell sharply from £121.3m (€141.1m) in 2021 to £44.7m (€51.8m) in 2022 (-63%).

Ticketing revenue rose to £15.6m (€18m) in 2022 from just £0.2m (€0.23m) in 2021, due to the lifting of Covid-19-related restrictions on fans entering stadiums. Commercial revenues (sponsorship, advertising, merchandise and other activities) grew by £3.8m to £50.4m (€58.4m), thanks in particular to the signing of "the highest value front-of-shirt deal in the club's 144-year history" (with betting operator Stake; £10m/€11.7m per season)…
