Rugby: TV Media Sport, exclusive media rights partner of Rugby Africa for the 2023-2026 cycle

The French media rights agency TV Media Sport (TVMS) has become the exclusive media rights partner of Rugby Africa for four years over the 2023-2026 cycle, announced the two entities on 04/04/2023.

As part of this agreement, TVMS will hold the global media rights to the rugby XV, rugby VII and women's rugby competitions organised by the African confederation. The partnership aims to enable "the promotion, awareness and development of the practice of all rugby disciplines in the 39 Rugby Africa member states," explained Rugby Africa and TVMS.

"Among its responsibilities, TVMS will be responsible for broadcasting the main competitions on the continent's major national channels and for providing rugby fans around the world with the opportunity to watch and appreciate the quality of the game."

This partnership begins with the Rugby Africa Women's Cup, which will take place in Madagascar from 20 to 28/05/2023. The agreement includes other competitions such as the men's and women's rugby sevens qualifying tournaments for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, played in autumn 2023.
