Premier League: negotiations with beIN to extend TV rights in MENA region over 2025-2028 (press)

The Qatari pay-TV group beIN Media Group is reported to be in exclusive negotiations with the Premier League to extend its broadcasting rights to the English league in the MENA region over the 2025-2028 cycle (three seasons), according to several specialised media on 04/04/2023.

beIN has held the exclusive full broadcasting rights to the Premier League in this territory since the 2012-13 season, i.e. four consecutive rights cycles. The group is currently paying a reported $166m per season (€152 million) for these rights over the 2022-2025 cycle.

beIN Media Group also holds the exclusive full broadcasting rights to the Ligue 1 Uber Eats (2021-2024), Bundesliga (2022-2025), LaLiga Santander (2020-2024) and the European club competitions (Champions League, Europa League and Europa Conference League, 2021-2024) in the MENA region.
