FIFA: Jacob's Creek (wine, AUS), "official supporter" of the Women's World Cup 2023

Jacob's Creek, a wine brand belonging to the Australian winery Orlando Wines (Pernod Ricard Group), has become an "official supporter" of the Women's World Cup 2023, announced FIFA on 05/04/2023. The competition will be held from 20/07 to 20/08/2023 in Australia and New Zealand.

As part of the agreement, Jacob's Creek wines will be sold at all World Cup stadiums as well as at the "FIFA Fan Festivals" (official fan zones) deployed in the nine host cities, while the brand's distributors in Australia and New Zealand will run "engaging consumer competitions, hospitality experiences, and gift with purchase opportunities," said FIFA. The Jacob's Creek winery (South Australia, AUS) will also host a leg of the competition's official trophy tour in July 2023.

Since December 2021, FIFA has had a new commercial structure allowing brands to position themselves solely on its women's competitions.
