esports: Aldi supports launch of Team Vitality's first women's League of Legends (LoL) team

Aldi France, a national subsidiary of the German supermarket group, has extended its partnership with Team Vitality and is supporting the esports organisation in the creation of its first women's team that will play in French League of Legends competitions, announced the team based in Paris (FRA), on 03/04/2023.

Five players have been recruited to form the "French Bees". The team thus completes the six other Team Vitality divisions and "marks a strategic turning point within the structure. This is a strong signal to the sector to advance the practice of women's esports within the finest local competitions," said Team Vitality.

"The academic team will benefit from access to premium resources throughout the year, including the same infrastructure as other Team Vitality teams: access to V.Hive (Paris, FRA) and V.Performance (at the Stade de France). The team will be integrated into a professional environment and will be offered tailor-made management (performance, communication, fans, etc.)," added the esports organisation.
