NBA: Kaseya (IT), title sponsor of the Miami Heat arena after the cancellation of the FTX contract

Kaseya, an American IT company, has become the official IT solutions partner of the Miami Heat (NBA) and obtained the naming rights to the Miami Arena (19,600 capacity) located in Miami (Florida, USA), as part of a "long-term" partnership, announced the American franchise on 04/04/2023. The arena will be named the "Kaseya Center" and will be "effective immediately."

The total value of the agreement is estimated at $117m (€107.3m) over 17 years, according to American media. The previous naming agreement between FTX, a Hong Kong-based cryptocurrency trading platform, and Miami-Dade County for the naming of the arena was cancelled following a US court decision on 11/01/2023.

The cancellation of the contract, which involved, among other things, the naming of the venue as the "FTX Arena" from 2022 and which was to run from 2022 to 2040, followed the liquidation of FTX, pronounced on 11/11/2022.
