La Liga: American Microsoft group partners with the Real Madrid until 2017-18

Microsoft, the American computer software brand, became a partner of Real Madrid CF (Liga BBVA) until the end of the 2017-18 season, the club announced on 18/11/2014.

The amount of the agreement is estimated at $30m (€24m) for four seasons, for an annual value of $7.5m (€6m), according to Forbes magazine. Microsoft becomes the exclusive technology partner of the club. The agreement includes the launch of a digital platform with exclusive content, including a virtual tour of the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium (capacity 85,000). Players and staff members will use Microsoft products, such as the Surface tablet, for the duration of the partnership.
