Premier League: first pre-season tournament in the United States with 6 clubs from 22 to 30/07/2023

The Premier League will hold the "Premier League Summer Series", its first pre-season tournament in the United States during which six clubs will play a total of nine matches from 22 to 30/07/2023, announced the body on 11/04/2023.

Aston Villa FC, Brentford FC, Brighton & Hove Albion FC, Chelsea FC, Fulham FC and Newcastle United FC will compete in the tournament and each play three games. Five cities from five states on the American East Coast will host the event: Atlanta (Georgia), Harrison (New Jersey), Orlando (Florida), Philadelphia (Pennsylvania) and Landover (Maryland). Tickets will be on sale from 26/04/2023.

The Premier League has become increasingly popular in the US. Arsenal FC - Manchester United FC (3-2), on Matchday 21 of the 2022-23 season, was watched by an average of 1.92 million viewers, in English, on NBC's free-to-air channel, the OTT platform Peacock and NBC Sports' digital services, making it the most-watched English-language Premier League match in US history.
