Women's World Cup 2023: less than 100 days to go until the New Zealand - Norway opening match

New Zealand - Norway (Group A) at Eden Park in Auckland/Tāmaki Makaurau (New Zealand) on Thursday 20/07/2023 (kick-off at 19:00 local time, 09:00 CET), 100 days from now (as of 11/04/2023), will be the opening match of the 9^th FIFA Women's World Cup co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand from 20/07 to 20/08/2023.

This first 32-team edition (compared to 24 teams in the previous edition, in 2019 in France) is also the first World Cup for either men or women to be co-hosted by two countries belonging to two different confederations, the OFC (to which New Zealand belongs) and the AFC (to which Australia has belonged since 01/01/2006).

With 100 days to go before the opening match, "the tournament’s unique "Unity Beat", a powerful chant that will be a sound and symbol to celebrate greatness throughout the tournament, was unveiled by hundreds of fans across Australia and New Zealand," said FIFA.

The 64 matches of the Women's World Cup 2023 will take place across 9 host cities and 10 stadiums.
