The SNCF (the French national railway company) should become a national sponsor of Euro 2016 (France, from 10/06 to 10/07/2016), and the French bank Credit Agricole is currently negotiating with UEFA to get the same position, according to News Tank sources on 19/11/2014.

The two companies could therefore join the FDJ (French lottery and sports betting company), which became the first national partner of the competition on 02/10/2014. The SNCF has been a sponsor for the last three international competitions in France: the Winter Olympic Games in Albertville in 1992, the 1998 World Cup, and the 2007 Rugby World Cup.

Credit Agricole is a partner of the FFF until 2018

  • The bank Credit Agricole has extended its partnership with the FFF (French Football Federation) for four years, from 2014 to 2018, on 26/05/2014.
    • Credit Agricole continues to support the France teams (men's, women's, and U-20), the men's and women's domestic cups of France male, as well as amateur football.
    • The contract is valued at €8m per year.
