MLS: Los Angeles FC, the first franchise to acquire a stake in a European club (FC Wacker Innsbruck)

Los Angeles FC (MLS) is investing in FC Wacker Innsbruck (Austrian 4^th division), subject to approval by the club's board and association (general assembly scheduled for 26/04/2023), according to the franchise on 14/04/2023.

The value of the transaction and the percentage of the Austrian club acquired by LAFC have not been communicated, as of 17/04/2023. This is the first time a franchise from the North American football league has acquired a stake in a European club.
