2022-23 Europa League: head-to-head Sporting CP - Juventus (quarter-final, 2^nd leg, 20/04/2023)

With just over 132 million followers on social media (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Twitter, as of 03/04/2023), Juventus FC (Serie A TIM) have 21 times as many as Sporting Clube de Portugal (Liga Portugal Bwin), who count 6.2 million as the two clubs prepare to face each other in the second leg of their 2022-23 Europa League quarter-final (1-0 win for Juventus in the 1^st leg) at the Estádio José Alvalade (Lisbon, POR) on Thursday 20/04/2023 (kick-off at 21:00 CET).

In terms of the revenue paid out by UEFA to the clubs participating in this edition of the Europa League, the Italian club can already count on €53.7m in guaranteed revenue (excluding the market pool), compared with €31.2m for their Portuguese rivals. The difference can be explained by the amounts distributed according to the UEFA coefficient ranking: Juventus received €32.9m, compared with only €6.8m for Sporting.
