FIFA: Cisco (computer networks), "official supporter" of the Women's World Cup 2023

Cisco ANZ, a regional subsidiary of the American computer server company, has become an "official supporter" of the Women's World Cup 2023 for the Asia-Pacific region, announced FIFA on 20/04/2023. The competition will be held from 20/07 to 20/08/2023 in Australia and New Zealand.

Cisco has been appointed "official network infrastructure provider" for the competition, which will be held in nine cities and 10 stadiums, "some of which are already built on Cisco infrastructure," explained the subsidiary based in Melbourne (AUS).

"Cisco will deliver a secure and reliable network that connects the entire tournament ecosystem, from the venues and operations to the administration and media," said FIFA.

The 9^th edition of the Women's World Cup "is expected to be watched by two billion people globally, and Cisco's networking technology will enable the seamless delivery of the event," added FIFA.
