Serie A TIM/fictitious capital gains: CONI suspends 15-point deduction imposed on Juventus

• A suspension of the withdrawal of 15 points from the 2022-23 Serie A TIM ranking for Juventus FC;
• a referral of the case to the FIGC Court of Appeal for a re-examination of the sanction and a clarification of the reasons for it;
• confirmation of the ban on former president Andrea Agnelli (24 months), as well as three other former executives (from 16 to 30 months);
• suspension of the sanction against former vice-president Pavel Nedved (8 months) and six other current and former executives (from 8 to 24 months).

These are the main decisions handed down by the National Olympic Committee's Sports Council on 20/04/2023. The CONI's dispute resolution body was examining an appeal lodged by Juventus following the sanctions imposed on the club by the FIGC Court of Appeal at the end of the trial on transfer capital gains considered fictitious and irregular, which was initially opened before the Italian Football Federation's national federal court on 20/01/2023.
