Real Betis: partnership with CBI (investment company) to create a "virtual universe" from 2023-24

Crypto Blockchain Industries (CBI), a French investment company specialised in company in blockchain technology, NFTs and cryptocurrencies, has signed an agreement with Real Betis Balompié (LaLiga Santander) to create its own virtual universe "within its 'Football at AlphaVerse' platform," announced the Spanish club on 22/04/2023. Neither the duration nor the value of the partnership have been communicated.

"CBI will recreate a Betis universe in which fans and supporters of the club from all over the world will be able to find a digital space where they can get to know each other, keep updated and enjoy unique experiences. In the new virtual universe, fans will be able to move through different 3D spaces, from the Estadio Benito Villamarín (Seville, ESP), to the Luis del Sol Sports City, the new Dos Hermanas Sports City and the city of Seville itself, allowing fans from all over the world to enjoy a new experience of proximity to the club.
