Serie A TIM: call for tenders for post-2024 domestic TV rights to be launched in May 2023

The call for tenders for the broadcasting rights, in Italy, to the Serie A TIM from the 2024-25 season will be launched in May 2023, announced the Lega Serie A at its general meeting on 24/04/2023.

"The next meeting on 05/05/2023 will be the occasion to define the lots of the tender, which will then be published within the next month," added the Italian League.

In Italy, the OTT platform DAZN holds the rights to broadcast all Serie A TIM matches (including 7 out of 10 on an exclusive basis), over the 2021-2024 cycle, for an estimated €840m per season. Three games per matchday are co-broadcast by channels belonging to the pay-TV group Sky Italia. The group acquired these rights over the 2021-2024 cycle for an estimated €87.5m per season.

"The clubs have also unanimously accepted the offer received from L'Equipe (a French media group dedicated to sport), exclusively for the French territory, for the audiovisual rights to the Coppa Italia (the last three matches of the 2022-23 season and all those of the 2023-24 season) and the 2023-24 Supercoppa Italiana," said the Lega Serie A.
