"Both chairmen stressed the vital role of the FIFA (Federation Internationale de Football Association) Ethics Committee in ensuring the highest standards of ethics and governance at FIFA," wrote Hans-Joachim Eckert, chairman of the adjicatory chamber of the Ethics Committee, and Michael J. Garcia, chairman of the investigatory chamber of the same committe, in a joint statement, on 20/11/2014.

"Notwithstanding the independence of two bedrooms, both presidents believe that good communication is vital in order to fulfill these functions," added the two presidents met at the FIFA headquarters in Zurich (SUI), the 20/11/2014.
