LaLiga: Castore to succeed New Balance as Athletic Club Bilbao's kit supplier in 2023-24

Castore, a British brand, is to become the official equipment supplier of Athletic Club Bilbao (LaLiga Santander) from the 2023-24 season, announced the club on 25/04/2023. The agreement covers the match and training kits of the Basque club's men's, women's and youth teams.

The partnership is estimated to be valued at €4.5m per season, according to Spanish media.

Castore will succeed New Balance, the official kit supplier of Athletic Bilbao for the 2017-2023 cycle (€3.5m per season). The American group had replaced its counterpart Nike, the Spanish club's equipment supplier for the 2013-2017 cycle (€2.5m per season), which had taken over from Umbro.

Athletic Bilbao join Sevilla FC and UD Almería among the LaLiga Santander clubs under contract with Castore. New Balance does not equip any other club in the Spanish league in 2022-23.
