FFF/D1 Arkema: 2023-24 budget of over €7m ahead of the creation of a women's pro league in 2024

"A budget that will amount to more than €7m: the FFF executive committee validated the amount allocated to D1 Arkema clubs for the 2023-24 season, on the sidelines of the presentation of the development plan for top-level women's football held at the Federation's headquarters (Paris, FRA) on Thursday 13/04/2023," announced the FFF on 25/04/2023.

"There is an economic commitment on the part of the Federation through concrete actions. They translate into an unprecedented effort for women's football with an increase in allocations in the order of 20 to 25%, which represents an additional €4-5m," said Philippe Diallo, interim president of the Fédération Française de Football, on 13/04/2023.

"This is an absolutely exceptional and historic commitment to make this development plan coherent and effective. It is the fruit of extensive work by the Women's High Level Commission led by Jean-Michel Aulas," added Diallo.

The creation of the new women's professional league within the FFF "will be presented for approval" at the Federal Assembly on Saturday 10/06/2023. It should come into existence…
