2022-23 Serie BKT: Frosinone Calcio promoted to the Serie A, four years after relegation

Frosinone Calcio 1928, top of the 2022-23 Serie BKT table with a ten-point lead over third-placed SSC Bari with three games remaining, are guaranteed a return to Serie A TIM without needing to go through the playoffs, following their 3-1 win over Reggina 1914 on 01/05/2023.

Relegated to the second division at the end of the 2018-19 season, the Lazio-based club are making their return to the top flight after four seasons in the Serie BKT. Frosinone has been wholly owned by Italian businessman Maurizio Stirpe since 2003.

The club, whose equipment supplier has been the Italian brand Zeus since 2018, has 201,500 fans on social media (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Twitter) as of 02/05/2023.
