Italy/FIGC: Gillette (shaving), official partner of the women's national team from 2023

Gillette, an American company specialised in shaving and hygiene products belonging to the Procter & Gamble group, has become an official partner of the Italian women's national team from 2023, announced the Federazione Italiana Giuoco Calcio on 02/05/2023. The brand is the first to commit exclusively to the women's team.

In particular, the two parties will launch the "Passion for Football Makes No Distinction" initiative to "a positive cultural impact in the perception of women's football" in the run-up to the Women's World Cup 2023 (to be held in Australia & New Zealand from 20/07 to 20/08/2023), including the #TifaPerTuaFiglia ("Root For Your Daughter") campaign, which will encourage Italians to post a video in which they play football with their daughter and will allow one of them to win a trip to a match of the competition.

As part of the European Sports Week (23-30/09/2023), Gillette will also organise sports activity sessions for 2,000 girls attending FIGC affiliated schools.
