European Top 5: social media communities of the 98 clubs (May 2023)

• 13 of the 25 clubs (52%) with the highest total growth in followers in April 2023 participate in the 2022-23 LaLiga Santander.
• 17 of the 25 clubs (68%) with the highest increase in followers on Facebook during the same period were Spanish.
• Getafe CF (LaLiga Santander) was the club that experienced the best percentage growth in followers, with an average increase of 79.7% across the four platforms.

These are some of the elements that emerged from the social network readings of the 98 European Top 5 clubs on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Twitter, conducted by News Tank Football on 02/05/2023.

Since January 2022, LaLiga has been rolling out LaLiga Impulso, a strategic project created to stimulate the global growth of the Spanish League and its clubs.
