Serie A TIM: Inter Milan & AS Roma remove the DigitalBits (crypto) logo from their shirts

FC Inter Milan and AS Roma have removed the logo of the blockchain platform DigitalBits from their respective shirts for Matchday 32 of the Serie A TIM, played from Friday 28 to Sunday 30/04/2023. The two Italian clubs, who are facing non-payment of all or part of the stipulated amounts under their contracts with their joint main shirt sponsor, displayed a blank space and the motto "SPQR" on the front of their shirts respectively.

• Digitalbits became Inter's sleeve sponsor for the 2021-22 season and then its main shirt sponsor for 2022-2024 for a total of €85m. While the company paid the amounts allocated to the sleeve sponsorship contract (€5m) and to the qualification to the Champions League Round of 16 in the 2021-22 season (€100,000), it did not pay the bonus linked to Inter Milan's 2^nd place in the 2021-22 Serie A TIM or its 2022 Coppa Italia title (€1.6m), nor did it make any payment for the main shirt sponsorship contract (€24m in 2022-23).
