France/La chaine L'Équipe: a 1.5% audience share in April 2023, the "best April in its history"

La chaine L'Équipe recorded an audience share of 1.5% in April 2023 (+18% in one year), i.e. the "best April in its history" for the French free DTT channel, according to data from the audience measurement institute Médiamétrie communicated by the channel on 02/05/2023.

The channel also recorded its best-ever month of April among men aged 25 to 49, with an audience share of 2.8% (+20% in one year). It also recorded an audience share of 1.7% in the 25-49 age group (+18%).

Among the competitions broadcast on the channel over the period were:

• FC Inter Milan (Serie A TIM) - Juventus FC (Serie A TIM), the second leg of their 2022-23 Coppa Italia Frecciarossa semi-final (1-0, 2-1 on aggregate), drew 459,000 viewers on the channel, "the best audience ever for a Coppa Italia match broadcast on the channel", on Wednesday 26/04/2023 (kick-off at 21:00 CET).
