Algeria: adidas (GER) extends as equipment supplier of the Federation (FAF) until 2026

adidas has extended its contract as the official equipment supplier of the Algerian Football Federation (FAF) for four years (2023-2026), announced the two parties on 27/04/2023. The German brand has been committed to the body since 2015.

This new agreement, "whose value and benefits greatly exceed those already concluded before", binds the German equipment manufacturer directly to the FAF, whereas the contract between the two parties has included two intermediaries since 2018: the French distributors S2F and Medgrant. Finally, the renewal of the partnership comes after the launch by the body, in August 2022, of a call for tenders "open to competition" to replace adidas, whose contract initially expired on 31/12/2022.

The agreement covers all Algerian national teams (men's, women's and youth). "The development and training of young talent, support for the Federation's academies, and the promotion of refereeing and women's football are all important projects of strategic interest that will benefit from the constant support and contribution of our partner adidas," said Djahid Zefizef…
