• The Confederation of African Football has received expressions of interest from six countries in the bidding process to host the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations: Algeria, Botswana, Egypt, Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania (joint bid).
• Real Madrid CF (LaLiga Santander) is opening an innovation laboratory at its facilities with the US pharmaceutical company Abbott to conduct research into sports nutrition and physiology.
• The Association of Tennis Professionals, in collaboration with LaLiga, has launched the ATP Business Education Programme for professional tennis players "designed to build ATP players' knowledge of the sports industry and open professional opportunities following their playing careers."
• The Lega Serie A has launched an official account on the American social network Snapchat.
• The free-TV group Mediaset España has acquired the rights to broadcast, in Spain, the second season of the Kings League (from 07/05/2023) and the first of the Queens League (from 06/05/2023)
