Olympique Lyonnais: "My intention isn't to fill the role of Jean-Michel Aulas" (John Textor)

"I will not be the CEO for a very long time. The club needs a CEO present here in Lyon (Rhône, FRA) with territorial and cultural roots. My intention isn't to fill the role of Jean-Michel (Aulas). I am the interim CEO and we have been looking for someone since yesterday (08/05/2023). "During its meeting held on 05/05/2023, the board of directors of OL Groupe appointed Mr. John Textor as chairman of the board of directors with effect from 05/05/2023 and until the end of his term as director, following the cessation of the functions of Mr. Jean-Michel Aulas as chairman and CEO of OL Groupe," announced the holding company that owns Olympique Lyonnais on 08/05/2023.
