Bundesliga: Huub Stevens replaces Armin Veh as manager of VfB Stuttgart

The Dutchman Huub Stevens has been appointed manager of VfB Stuttgart (Bundesliga), announced the club, on 25/11/2014. He succeeds the German Armin Veh, who announced his resignation due to the poor performance of the club on 24/11/2014.

Huub Stevens, 60 years old, had been manager of the club from 09/03/2014 to 30/06/2014. He had managed to keep the club in the Bundesliga at the conclusion of the 2013-14 season. After 12 matchdays, VfB Stuttgart is in last place in the Bundesliga with 9 points (2 wins, 3 draws, 7 losses). The club is two points behind Borussia Dortmund (11 points) for 16th and the Bundesliga - 2.Bundesliga relegation play-off place.
