2022-23 LaLiga Santander: FC Barcelona claim their 27^th Spanish league title

FC Barcelona have been crowned 2022-23 LaLiga Santander champions after beating RCD Espanyol 4-2 at the RCDE Stadium (40,000 capacity) on Sunday 14/05/2023 (Matchday 34). The Catalan club has 85 points with four games to go, 14 more than Real Madrid CF (2^nd with 71 points), who can no longer catch up.

This is FC Barcelona's 27^th Spanish league title, consolidating their position as the second most successful Spanish club, behind Real Madrid (35 titles) and ahead of Club Atlético de Madrid (11). Barça succeed Real Madrid, the 2021-22 Spanish champions. Over the last 10 seasons, Barcelona have won five times, Real three times and Atlético Madrid twice.
