How do you work on your local identity? This was the question News Tank Football asked 12 of the 2022-23 Ligue 2 BKT clubs. Four of them express themselves in this first part (of three): SC Bastia, FC Girondins de Bordeaux, Le Havre AC and FC Sochaux-Montbéliard.

"The club's financial difficulties and our relegation have made us aware of the importance of re-establishing a close link with our region," said Thomas Jacquemier, CEO of FC Girondins de Bordeaux.

"After going into receivership in 2017, we restarted with successive promotions to the top level and today we are voluntarily stopping our progress, beyond the sporting aspect, to sit down and reflect on the club's policy for the next five years," explained Jérôme Negroni, managing director of SC Bastia.
