2022-23 Premier League: Manchester City FC claim their 9^th title & 3^rd in a row

Manchester City FC have been crowned 2022-23 Premier League champions after Arsenal FC lost 0-1 to Nottingham Forest FC on Saturday 20/05/2023 (Matchday 37). The Mancunian club has 88 points, seven more than second-placed Arsenal (81 points), who can no longer catch up with them.

This is Manchester City's third consecutive English league title and their ninth overall after 1936-37, 1967-68, 2011-12, 2013-14, 2017-18, 2018-19, 2020-21 and 2021-22. It is the seventh time the club has won the Premier League since being bought by Abu Dhabi United Group for Development and Investment in 2008.

With nine English league titles, Manchester City are the fourth most successful English club, tied with Everton FC (9). The three clubs ahead of them are Manchester United FC (20 titles), Liverpool FC (19) and Arsenal FC (13).
