2022-23 D1 Arkema: 16^th women's top flight title for Olympique Lyonnais

Olympique Lyonnais' women's team have been crowned as 2022-23 D1 Arkema champions after beating Paris Saint-Germain 1-0 at the Parc des Princes (Paris, FRA) on Matchday 21, the penultimate matchday of the season on 21/05/2023. OL Féminin have 58 points with one matchday to go, six more than their Parisian opponents, who can no longer catch up.

The Lyon club has therefore won its second consecutive title and its 16^th French championship in total, one week after winning the Women's Coupe de France, having already beaten PSG 2-1 on Saturday 13/05/2023 at the Stade de la Source in Orléans (Loiret, FRA).

The league and cup double comes just days after former president Jean-Michel Aulas stepped down as head of the club and as OL's women's section is to become part of a global multi-team women's football structure run by American businesswoman Michele Kang, owner of the Washington Spirit (NWSL) via YMK Holdings.
