NFL: Extreme Networks becomes the official stadium wi-fi supplier to the league

Extreme Networks, a US company that designs solutions and manufactures equipment for telecommunications networks, became the official wi-fi provider for the stadiums of the NFL (National Football League), announced the league, the 21/11/2014.

The company aims to connect all NFL stadiums. Extreme Networks already connects Ford Field (capacity 65,000) in Detroit, MetLife Stadium (capacity 82,500) in New York, Gillette Stadium (capacity 68,700) in Boston, and Lincoln Financial Field (capacity 67,500) in Philadelphia. Through its subsidiary Enterasys, Extreme Networks will also work with the league to enhance the fan experience for the different franchises. The California-based company has provided advice for all stadiums in the league since January 2014.
