FC Barcelona: Philips (NED, electronics), sleeve sponsor for 3 to 5 seasons from 2023-24 (press)

The Dutch electronics manufacturer Philips has reportedly reached an agreement with FC Barcelona (LaLiga Santander) to become the Catalan club's sleeve sponsor from 2023-24, for a period of between three and five seasons, according to the Spanish sports daily Mundo Deportivo on 20/05/2023.

The deal would involve a progressive annual fee, estimated at €8m for the first season, then €10m for the second and €12m for the third (a total of €30m over three years).
• It would also include a clause granting the possibility of renewing the partnership for a further two years, during which the Dutch brand would pay €12m and €14m to the Spanish club, bringing the total value of the contract to €56m over five years.
• The agreement would also include a variable payment of €500,000 to €1m depending on the trophies won by the club, and the provision of television sets for the renovated Camp Nou worth €4m.
