Premier League: Midea (home appliances, CHN) extends as a global partner of Manchester City FC

Midea, a Chinese company specialised in the production of home appliances and air conditioners, has extended as a global partner of Manchester City FC (Premier League) from 2023-24, announced the club on 23/05/2023.

The Chinese brand, which has been involved with the club since the 2019-20 season, has the status of global partner, the second level in Manchester City's sponsorship hierarchy. As part of the renewed deal, Midea will benefit from visibility on signage at the Etihad Stadium (Manchester, ENG) and both parties "will continue to create high quality content campaigns through further collaboration with players," said the club, which generated €358.6m from sponsorship revenue in 2021-22.

Nexen Tire, a South Korean tyre manufacturer, has also extended as a global partner of Manchester City beyond 2022-23, as part of an agreement signed on 11/05/2023. The brand will however cease to appear on the English club's shirt sleeves from the 2023-24 season.
