2015 Cup of Nations: adidas presents "Marhaba," the official ball (Eq Guinea, 17/01 to 08/02/2014)

The German sports equipment supplier adidas unveiled "Marhaba", the official ball of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations (Equatorial Guinea, 17/01 of 08/02/2015) on 26/11/2014. The official presentation of this ball will take place during the draw for the finals of this competition in Malabo, the capital of Equatorial Guinea, on 03/12/2014.

The ball will be on sale from 01/12/2014 in adidas stores. Technology embodied in the ball is identical to that used for the "Brazuca", the official ball of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. "The colours, gold and blue, are intended to reflect the various landscapes of Africa and the various ecosystems," said CAF (Confederation of African Football) on 26/11/2014 on its official website. The name of the ball, "Marhaba" means "Welcome" in Arabic.
