Paris 2024 Paralympic Games: Nine acquires exclusive broadcasting rights in Australia

Nine Entertainment has acquired the exclusive full broadcasting rights in Australia to the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, announced the privately-owned Australian media group on 23/05/2023.

"In addition to free-to-air and streaming coverage across the 9Network, 9Now and Stan, Nine will bring unparalleled images and sounds of the Paralympic Games of Paris 2024 to audiences, broadcasting key moments across its talk radio stations, 2GB Sydney, 3AW Melbourne, 6PR Perth and 4BC Brisbane, and full coverage published across Nine's suite of print and online publishing platforms," said the group. The broadcasting rights for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games (held in 2021) were held in this territory by the free-TV group Seven.

Nine Entertainment also acquired the exclusive broadcasting rights in Australia for the Summer and Winter Olympic Games over the 2024-2032 cycle (five editions) on 08/02/2023.
