Basketball/Germany: Deutsche Telekom acquires media rights to FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2023 & 2025

Deutsche Telekom has acquired the rights to broadcast the 2023 and 2025 editions of the FIBA Women's EuroBasket in Germany, announced the telecommunications operator on 25/05/2023.

The games will be broadcast free of charge on the Magenta Sport OTT platform. The agreement includes all Germany's games, the opening match, a "flagship" game as well as the semi-finals, the game for third place and the final. The 2023 Women's EuroBasket will take place in Tel Aviv (ISR) and Ljubljana (SVN) from 15 to 25/06/2023. The venue for the 2025 edition has not yet been decided.

Deutsche Telekom also holds the German broadcasting rights for the FIBA Men's Basketball World Cup 2023 (to be held in Japan, Indonesia and the Philippines from 25/08 to 10/09/2023), the FIBA Men's EuroBasket 2025 (to be held in Cyprus, Finland, Poland and Latvia), as well as the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and the 7Days EuroCup (2015-2026).
