France Télévisions will be presenting experiments on the theme of "immersive tennis and AI" throughout the 2023 edition of the Roland-Garros Grand Slam tournament (played from 28/05 to 11/06/2023), announced the public broadcasting group on 25/05/2023.

"For this 2023 edition of the RG Lab, in partnership with the Fédération Française de Tennis (FFT), France TV's digital department and its technological partners will be presenting several use cases combining advances in AI, motion capture and volumetric video (3D capture of an athlete's movements)," explained the group.

"These experiences will be offered on different platforms and immersive screens, and will complement the work carried out at the previous event on immersive spaces, in particular by integrating the replay of matches in 3D," said France Télévisions.
