2022-23 Bundesliga: FC Bayern Munich crowned German champions for a record 11^th consecutive season

FC Bayern Munich were crowned 2022-23 Bundesliga champions after a 2-1 win at 1. FC Köln combined with Borussia Dortmund's 2-2 draw at home to FSV Mainz 05 on Matchday 34, the final matchday of the season on Saturday 27/05/2023. The Bavarian club ended the season with 71 points, just as many as Dortmund, who were only beaten on goal difference (+54 to +39).

Bayern have now won their 11^th consecutive league title, something never seen before in the European Top 5. The last time another club won the German championship was in 2011-12, namely Borussia Dortmund, who also won in 2010-11.

With 33 Bundesliga titles to their name, FC Bayern Munich have consolidated their position as Germany's most successful club. FC Nuremberg (9 titles) and BVB (8 titles) complete the podium.
