France/UNFP Trophies 2023: Kylian Mbappé named best player & Delphine Cascarino, best women's player

The 31^st UNFP Football Trophies ceremony, organised by the professional players' union in partnership with the LFP at the Pavillon Gabriel (Paris, 8^th arrondissement), saw Paris Saint-Germain's French international striker Kylian Mbappé voted "best player" in the 2022-23 Ligue 1 Uber Eats, on Sunday 28/05/2023. The Parisian won the individual award for the 4^th year running, becoming the most successful player in the category.

Nuno Mendes (POR, Paris Saint-Germain) was awarded the trophy for "best prospect", while Brice Samba (FRA, RC Lens) was named "best goalkeeper".

In the D1 Arkema, French international Delphine Cascarino (Olympique Lyonnais) was voted "best player", while Laurina Fazer (FRA, Paris Saint-Germain) was awarded the "best prospect" trophy for the second season running. Chilean goalkeeper Chistiane Endler (Olympique Lyonnais) was named "best goalkeeper".

In the Ligue 2 BKT, Georgian Georges Mikautadze (FC Metz) was crowned "best player" and Frenchman Arthur Desmas (Le Havre AC) "best goalkeeper".

Karim Benzema (FRA, Real Madrid CF) was named best French player abroad.
