2022-23 Europa League final: head-to-head Sevilla FC - AS Roma, Wednesday 31/05/2023

With nearly 27 million followers on social media (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Twitter, as at 02/05/2023), AS Roma (Serie A TIM) have 2.8 times as many as Sevilla FC (LaLiga Santander), who count 9.6 million, as the two clubs prepare to face each other in the final of the 2022-23 Europa League at the Puskás Arena in Budapest (Hungary) on Wednesday 31/05/2023 (kick-off at 21:00 CET).

The representative from the Spanish championship is the club participating in this edition of the Europa League that can count on the highest amount paid out by UEFA, with €57.2m in guaranteed revenue (excluding the market pool) already, compared with €19.9m for their rivals. The difference can be explained by Sevilla FC's qualification for the Champions League group stage. The club, which finished third and was therefore relegated to the Europa League, received €15.6m, as well as €27.3m from its UEFA coefficient rankings, compared with just €3.6m for Roma, which played in the Europa League group stage, and €3.9m from its UEFA coefficient ranking.
