Ligue 1 Uber Eats/Ligue 2 BKT: LFP & Kipsta present the official footballs for the 2023-24 season

The Ligue de Football Professionnel (LFP) and Kipsta, a sporting goods brand belonging to the Decathlon group, unveiled the official balls for the Ligue 1 Uber Eats and Ligue 2 BKT, which will be used during the 2023-24 season, on 28/05/2023.

"Ligue 1 Uber Eats will use the same ball throughout the season (unlike in 2022-23), as will the Ligue 2 BKT: there will therefore be no new ball for the second half the season. However, a collectable ball for a social cause will be produced during the season. It will be used on a single matchday in Ligue 1 and Ligue 2," explained the LFP.

On 21/04/2021, Kipsta became the supplier of official footballs for the LFP's competitions for five seasons (2022-2027). The French brand succeeded German equipment supplier uhlsport, which supplied Ligue 1 balls during the 2017-2022 cycle at an estimated cost of €1.2m per season (i.e. a total of €6m for the 2017-2022 cycle), as well as Ligue 2 balls since the 2012-13 season.
