Paris Saint-Germain: 2023 summer tour in Japan with the football, handball & esports teams

Paris Saint-Germain is organising a summer tour of Japan with its men's football (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) and handball (Liqui Moly StarLigue) teams, as well as "its esports teams," announced the club on 02/06/2023.

"The football team will play three matches: on 25 and 28/07 at Yanmar Stadium Nagai (Osaka) against Al-Nassr (KSA) and Cerezo Osaka (J.League 1) and on 01/08/2023 at the Japan National Stadium (Tokyo) against Inter Milan (Serie A TIM). The handball team will face Zeekstar Tokyo, one of the most ambitious local clubs, on 31/07, and will also take on the Japanese national team at the Ariake Arena (Tokyo) on 02/08/2023."

This will be the second tour of Japan for the club's men's football team, following a first visit in 2022, and the first for its handball players. "In 2022, the club has already enjoyed incredible popularity with Japanese fans with more than 65,000 supporters attending a match at Tokyo's National Stadium - setting a new attendance record, with a total of more than 150,000 fans over three matches and more than 31,000 fans attending public training sessions," said…
