Rugby World Cup 2023 France: TF1 partners with Meta to create content on Instagram

On the occasion of the Rugby World Cup 2023 (organised in France from 08/09 to 28/10/2023), TF1 has entered into a partnership with the Meta group, parent company of the social networks Facebook and Instagram and the instant messaging platforms Whatsapp and Messenger, announced the French private free-TV group on 01/06/2023.

As part of the agreement, TF1 will be "the first player in France to inaugurate the Instagram Broadcast Channel feature, offering rugby fans the chance to follow news and behind the scenes coverage of the competition as closely as possible on its Instagram account with a regular stream of content throughout the competition," explained the group.

"The TF1 account will offer Instagram users a channel dedicated to the Rugby World Cup, updated in real time from now until the end of the competition, so that fans can discover exclusive news, take part in polls and quizzes, go behind the scenes at matches and in TF1's rugby magazines, watch unforgettable video archives of the French World Cup team, and quickly receive highlights of the competition (tries, summaries),…
