European Top 5: social media communities of the 98 clubs (June 2023)

• 13 of the 25 clubs (52%) whose total number of followers grew the most in May 2023 play in LaLiga Santander.
• 18 of the 25 clubs (72%) whose number of followers grew the most on Facebook during the same period are also Spanish.
• Madrid's Rayo Vallecano de Madrid (LaLiga Santander) is the European Top 5 club that experienced the best percentage growth in followers, with an average increase of +61.2% across the four platforms, ahead of Getafe CF (+40%) and RC Celta (+34.1%).

These figures, which demonstrate, as they did last month, the strong online growth of Spanish clubs, emerged from the social network readings of the 98 European Top 5 clubs on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Twitter, conducted by News Tank Football on 01/06/2023.

Since January 2022, LaLiga has been rolling out LaLiga Impulso, a strategic project created to stimulate the global growth of the Spanish League and its clubs.
