2022-23 Women's Champions League: FC Barcelona crowned champions of Europe for the second time

FC Barcelona Femení (Finetwork Liga F) won the 2022-23 UEFA Women's Champions League by defeating VfL Wolfsburg Frauen (Flyeralarm Frauen-Bundesliga) 3-2, at the Philips Stadion in Eindhoven (NED), on Saturday 03/06/2023.

The Catalan side won the competition a year after being beaten 1-3 by Olympique Lyonnais (D1 Arkema) in the final of the 2021-22 edition. This is their second title in the competition, following a first in 2020-21.

FC Barcelona now have as many titles as German clubs VfL Wolfsburg and 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam, as well as Umeå IK (Sweden). 1. FFC Frankfurt (Flyeralarm Frauen-Bundesliga), who will be absorbed by Eintracht Frankfurt (Bundesliga) in June 2020, have won the competition four times, while Olympique Lyonnais have won the Women's Champions League eight times.
