"With CVC Capital Partners, we have been working since last September on the call for tenders that will be launched this autumn (for the rights to broadcast the Ligue 1 Uber Eats over the cycle from the 2024-25 season), probably in September 2023. We're relatively calm. Our target is €1.6bn in annual revenue by 2027. That's the real target for Ligue 1," said Vincent Labrune, president of the Ligue de Football Professionnel, to the French sports daily L'Équipe on 06/06/2023.

The rights to broadcast the Ligue 1 Uber Eats are currently held in France by the American e-commerce group Amazon (2021-2024) and the pay and free-TV group Canal+ (2020-2024). Amazon broadcasts 85% of the matches on its Prime Video platform via its Pass Ligue 1 offer, including 80% on an exclusive basis (the 10 top fixtures, 38 second choice matches, 10 third choice matches and choices 5 to 10). These rights were acquired for a sum of €250m per season.
