Ligue 1: Evian TG becomes first French club to commercialise sock space, match by match basis

Evian Thonon Gaillard FC (Ligue 1) joined SponsorLive, an online platform that connects clubs with potential partners to commercialise a sock space on kits, on 25/11/2014. The club will offer contracts for the space on a match by match basis for small and medium-sized businesses to gain visibility. Evian TG is the first French club to take this initiative.

Brake, a food brand wholesaler, will be the first sock sponsor of the Evian TG during the match against Lyon (Matchday 17 of Ligue 1) on 07/12/2014. "We are signing a partnership with the SponsorLive platform to market the (sock) advertising space. Via SponsorLive, we will offer different sock sponsorships for every game until the end of the season. It is a real success, and we greatly believe in this new form of one-time sponsorship," said Erick Garcia, commercial director of Evian TG, on 25/11/2014.
