Serie A TIM: Juventus FC considering leaving the European Super League project

Juventus FC (Serie A TIM) "has transmitted a communication to the two remaining clubs that, as Juventus, have not exercised their withdrawal from the Super League Project (FC Barcelona and Real Madrid CF) in order to initiate a discussion period among the three clubs concerning the potential Juventus' exit from the Super League project," announced the Italian club on 06/06/2023.

"The company will proceed with any communications due under the law following the outcome of the interlocutions and evaluations regarding the above, clarifying that many of the reconstructed version published by the media about the contents of the communication (including any reference to alleged threats of potential sanctions by UEFA) are not true," said Juventus.

Several Spanish and Italian media outlets have claimed that the Turin club wanted to leave the Super League project in order to avoid sanctions from UEFA that could go as far as exclusion from the European Cups in 2023-24 in the case of accounting manipulations deemed illegal and denounced by the Italian Financial Markets Authority…
